No matter how successful an organisation may be; its continued long term success rests on its ability to recruit and maintain a healthy membership of enthusiastic and service-minded individuals.

That’s why Hyde Rotary Club is delighted to announce that Karen and Brian Dorney have recently joined the club. Karen owner of Hyde’s premier Craft Emporium – Paper Tulips, has also been instrumental in the highly successful Hyde Artisan Market and her latest charitable initiative: The Crafty Girls of Hyde Calendar.

Hyde Rotary Club President, Kevin Maddox, said; “Karen and Brian are both inspirational self-motivated individuals who not only support our town, but have an enviable reputation of investing both time and effort into supporting local charitable causes.”

“Over many years, Hyde Rotary Club has a proven track record of success which is directly due to the calibre of its membership and perhaps fundamentally by retaining that solid membership. That’s why I take particular pleasure in welcoming Karen and Brian into our club. They are a couple who immediately identified with the Rotary Clubs aims and expressed a genuine interest in participating in the organization’s activities. In welcoming Karen and Brian, we look forward to many years of Rotary Club fellowship.”
