DON’T MISS THE ‘FREE’ WERNETH ART EXHIBITION

Once again Gee Cross’s very own art group ‘Werneth Art’ will be hosting their annual art exhibition to coincide with the ever-popular Gee Cross Fete. So if you’re planning on being in Gee Cross for the Fete, why not pop along to this excellent exhibition to view lots of original paintings created by this group of talented local artists.

The exhibition is to be held at the Gee Cross Community Centre on Wych Fold (just behind the Grapes Hotel). Entry is free and it is expected that there will be in excess of fifty original paintings and works of art on display.

These works of art include a wide cross section of subjects and styles from traditional landscapes and town scenes to still life studies and intricate modern designs. Included within the exhibition will be a number of locally based paintings depicting modern and historic subjects to re-kindle many memories and emotions.

Most of the paintings on display will be available to purchase, so if you would like to own an original work of art produced by a talented local artist then the Werneth Art Exhibition is something not to be missed.
