XYLE HYDE, the towns flagship Artisan Coffee House are inviting everyone to call in on Friday 28th September 2018 – between 9.30-1.30pm to enjoy locally blended coffees as well as their handcrafted, artisan cakes, all expertly prepared by their highly trained baristas, staff and team members in order to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care.
To launch XYLE’S participation in The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning with a swing, Tameside Radio will be on hand at the Manchester Road Retail Park venue where they will be broadcasting live from 10am until 1.00pm from their Outside Broadcast vehicle.
The whole team at XYLE invite you and your family to come along and support this fantastic charitable event, which will also be attended by The worshipful the Civic Mayor of Tameside, Cllr Denise Ward, who will be supporting the event from 12.00noon until 1.00pm.
Justine Power-Rawson, XYLE’s Retail Brand Executive said, “All the proceeds from any coffee’s and delicious, specially baked Artisan/Macmillan cakes, sold during this event will be donated to this very worthy cause.”
She added, “In addition to the coffee morning, XYLE will also be holding a Tombola with some great prizes on offer. The team will attempt to cycle 60 miles in the coffee shop – which is like cycling from Hyde to York, as well as running a super Hamper Raffle, a Spin the wheel competition and hopefully demonstrating a sponsored fitness programme. Again, all proceeds raised will also go to Macmillan Cancer Care to help fund the work of the wonderful Macmillan nurses.”
A spokesperson from the Quest Media Network, who operate Tameside Radio commented, “Our flexible outlook towards local broadcasting and programming, coupled with the local press and online coverage places us in a unique position whereby we can service the needs of our community and listeners. And we hope to meet you all on the day to support XYLE’s participation in this National annual event.”
XYLE is positioned between The Food Factory and the giant B&M store on the Manchester Road Retail Park – so mark the date in your diaries: Friday 28th September 2018 XYLE- Macmillan Coffee Morning.
