A brand new Post Office will open in Dukinfield later this month as part of a modernisation and investment programme, taking place across the Post Office network.
The new branch will open at Neha Stores, off Yew Tree Lane at 1pm on Monday February 19th and will complement the service offered by existing branches on King Street, Concord Way and Talbot Road.
A wide range of services will be available to customers, such as foreign currency, posting letters and parcels, and collecting and returning online shopping items.
Customers will also be able to take advantage of banking services, including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks.
Simon Talbot, Post Office Network Operations Manager said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.”
“We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office alongside our Oxford Road, Shaw Hall and Dukinfield branches will ensure that people in the community have easy access to our services.”
Services will be available to customers for 85 hours a week, with the new branch open 8am-9pm from Monday to Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sundays.
