PG Fabrications Ltd of Hyde has made a second donation of £100.00 to Willow Wood hospice to support their work looking after local people affected by life-limiting illnesses.
Following on from their successful sponsorship of Hyde Town Teams Spring Vintage & Classic Car Show, held on the town’s Civic Square, the company generously doubled their original donation, bringing the total amount they have contributed to £200.00.
Pete Garcia, whose family have owned and run the highly successful fabrication business for over 47 years, donated the extra cash to the Willow Wood Hospice Appeal this week after reviewing the many benefits gained from sponsoring the popular town event.
Pete said: “The hospice is a fantastic facility and by sponsoring the Town Teams Vintage Car Show we recognised that as well as helping to boost the town’s attraction, we would also be making a small contribution to help local families make the most of the time they have left together.”
Lynn Fothergill, PR Communications & Marketing Officer at the hospice, said, “We are so grateful to PG Fabrications for their generous donation. As a charity we’re almost totally reliant on the generosity of our community to help us raise the funds we need every year to provide the highest standard of help to local people in our care.”
