HYDE COMMUNITY COLLEGE CONCERT A HUGE SUCCESS

Hyde Community College once again showed what an abundance of talent they have following a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the Hyde Spring Show.

The packed audience was treated to a medley of wonderful music and singing from all ages. It truly was a night to remember for everyone involved.

Dominic Mayhew, who compèred the show with confidence, did a superb job.

There were performances from the three schools bands; Hyde Vocals, Hyde Band and Hyde Rock Band, as well as performances from:

Aashah Ramadan – Pianist

Anna Ellison – Singer

Nacoya Adams – Saxophonist

Charlotte Hall  – Singer

Abbie Layfield  – Singer

Bethany Fawcett – Pianist

Polly Foxcroft – Singer

Emily Ray – Singer

Jodie Walton – Singer

Bayley McGhee – Pianist

The Spring Show is a great way for students to showcase their talents and get them used to performing in front of a large audience in a professional theatre environment.

Head of Music, Mr Anthony said; ‘Congratulations to all students who performed at the Hyde Spring Show. You are all a credit to yourselves, families and your school! It was such a great success; we’re looking forward to the next concert already.

All funds raised are being donated to Elliott’s Trust, a fundraising organisation set-up following the tragic passing of former student Elliott Fernandez.
