HYDE INVITE YOU TO COME AND ‘MEET the RETAILERS’

‘Meet the Market’ is a special program designed to give Hyde’s Retailers, Non-profit organizations and Community Groups a unique opportunity to ‘get out there’ and present their products and services to Hyde’s Saturday shoppers from outdoor market stalls and gazebo’s.

“The event is a special one day retail ‘expo’ designed and developed by members of Hyde’s volunteer Town Team to introduce the town’s retailer’s latest products, technologies and services directly to the shopping community” said Julia Harrison, Chair of Hyde’s volunteer Town Team group.

With over 20 businesses taking part in this new event, on 23rd June 2018, it is envisaged that ‘Meet the Market’ will become yet another important part of the towns annual events programme.

Taking part in this opening event will be: Iceland Frozen Foods, Greenhalghs Craft Bakery, Luxury Linens, Hyde Town Team volunteers, Local Community Matters online news, The Cottage Deli, Harrison Office Supplies, Leading Edge Hair & Beauty, Tameside Action Together, EE Mobile Phones, Once Upon A Bride and Perfect Fit, The Helping Hand Charity Shop, Morrison’s, Sandwich Angels, Miss Bec’s School of Dancing, The Way Community Church and Zion Church, Variety Direct, Specsavers Hyde with the Hyde United mascot ‘Roary’, Central Methodist Church, Boots, Aroma Amour Ltd, Job Centre Plus Disability Confident team, and others yet to confirm.

Even after several changes over the years, Hyde Market still remains at the heart of the town, and despite all the changes, it’s the people of Hyde themselves whose continued loyalty; together with the towns’ retailers’ playing their part, that keeps the market thriving, especially when today’s retail technology and online shopping are on the rise.

Remember, its you that makes Hyde Market what it is.

So, please give Hyde your support on Saturday 23rd June, 2018 by joining in with the ‘Meet the Market’
